Dr Nathan Pitt

B.V.Sc

Dr Nathan joined the team late 2021 and has recently become the proud new owner of the practice, April 2022. He hopes to usher in a new era of gold-standard pet care and animal health services at the Sorell Veterinary Centre.

Nathan qualified and worked as a veterinarian in South Africa before emigrating to Australia in 2019. He lived with his family on the Gold Coast before deciding to make the change to the fresh air and beautiful landscape of Tasmania.

“My goal is to have healthy pets and happy clients. This will be achieved through a strong emphasis on preventative health care and excellent customer service. As the old saying goes, “prevention is better than cure”.

Nathan has a passion for all things great and small. While his time is taken up within the confines of the clinic on most days, there are plans to expand the service offering to include horses and production animals.
